You will see that our home is priced within the higher end of the market, there are a number of reasons that we chose to do this. We spent many years visiting Florida to choose a plot of land for our home. You will notice, if you visit Florida, that many rental homes only have about six feet between them and that the pools of adjacent homes are really close together - giving a crowded impression. We wanted a place that did not have other pools and homes built in a line and that had an open feel to it. We stayed in other vacation homes to gain some experience before building our home; we needed to find out what we wanted! Often when in their pools, it felt like you were in a public swimming pool. You were so close to your neighbours that you could see and hear other people in their pools for about 5 homes either way. If you look at some home advertisement pictures, most try to do a good job of not showing this in their pool picture - as it is such a detraction to many families enjoyment. We have avoided this problem by choosing our home on a corner plot, which has a relatively large distance from the neighbouring homes for Florida standards. Our villa is pushed much father back than other homes and so is very private. When you swim in our pool, you have a clear and private view of the natural lake which has no homes on the opposite side of the lake (a rare treat in Florida) just a small forest. Other homes and pools do not look over our pool. We have also furnished and decorated our home to a very high standard, with top of the range furnishings and fittings. We have ensured all the comforts of home. We are located just of the 192 in Kissimmee, where land is in short supply. We are in a unique and convenient position for all the parks, restaurants and shopping malls. Many homes are now being built further out on highway 27 these are cheaper to stay in, but for a reason. The location is a nightmare as the traffic at that side of Disney is very busy. It can take much longer to get around - which is a problem when its hot. We have experience of this because, before we built our home, we stayed on the 27 twice. Whilst reaching Disney was not too bad, other parks, shops and restaurants took hours to get to. Especially at peak traffic times.
